Blueprints of a non-constructed 10 story student residence, we were approached to design and install a closed circuit security camera system covering. The system covers all of the public areas including main entrances, hallways, common areas, main lobby, surrounding outdoor areas and parking garages.

51 cameras were installed in the building.
Installation of Cat5e cabling that would allow for power and video to use 1 cable rather than 2. This would also allow for future upgrades to the system.
All cameras that were install are vandal proof to protect again physical damage.
3 cameras were strategically located on each floor (2nd to 10th) to provide a full view of the hallways and doors leading to both stairways as well as to the main elevator.
Installed 12 cameras on the first floor to cover the main entrances and common areas.
Installed 12 cameras on the exterior of the building, maintenance rooms and in the underground parking garage.
Plastic conduit was installed in parking garage area to protect cables against vandalism.
Install a large central battery backup for continual recording even during a power outage.
Installed 2 - 6TB DVR recorders (supports up to 32 analog cameras each) in the main security office and connected it to dual flat-screen monitors.
We provided an easily monitored 24/7 system with enough storage space to monitor all areas. The system maintains a record of activity for a minimum of one week (even during power disruptions) with the ability to add additional cameras with no disruption to the existing system.
